Porn website tabs mistakenly shown on screenshot by Evangelical Republican political candidate

Evangelical Republican political candidate Mike Webb has been severely criticized after posting a screenshot on his Facebook page on Monday, May 16 that revealed a couple of porn tabs left open.

"Too much multitasking!" read one of the comments on Webb's controversial post. The post was exposed on his campaign page for over six hours before it was apparently removed, according to Gawker.

Webb uploaded the screenshot to show details from an employment agency that he accused of booking him for a fictitious appointment, according to Christian Today. However, the screenshot also revealed two tabs titled "Layla River Tight" and "Ivone Sexy Amateur." Google searches would show that the two pages lead to pornographic videos. Layla River is said to be a professional pornography actress while Ivone is an amateur.

"Lessons affirmed today include that we do expect our leaders to be examples of our highest ideals, but also, as we have seen for almost a year in non-traditional length posts, people are interested and motivated by truth and substance, not flash or even scandal," Webb wrote on a brand new Facebook post titled "THANKS FOR THE TAB CHECK, RANGER BUDDIES!" after removing the controversial screenshot.

Webb still found opportunity to praise God despite being the subject of ridicule due to his social media mishap. He said, "The truly amazing thing about today was that 'I saw also the Lord, high and lifted up,' and I was very much moved by the love and support of those who expressed their encouragement and support."

He went on further to say that his Twitter following grew at a rate of 50 percent and that his Facebook likes grew by 25 percent in just one day.

Webb, who lost his bid for the Republican nomination at the GOP's district convention earlier this month and has since then declared himself a conservative independent, plans to run as an independent in November against economist and environmental consultant Charles Henrick and Rep. Don Beyer.
