Jihadists purportedly from Islamic State's group in Indonesia has threatened U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and other world leaders in a new video showing footage of what looked like an "assassination attempt."

The video titled "Incite the Believers to Fight 2" was released on the ISIS terrorist channels on Nov. 30, and it showed a clip of Trump being rushed off the stage by the Secret Service personnel during a Nevada rally.

The incident featured in the video took place last Nov. 5, when a commotion was sparked after somebody from the audience shouted "Gun!" while Trump was delivering a speech. A man named Austin Crites was apprehended, although no weapon was found and the suspect, who claimed he merely wanted to get close to the stage, was eventually released. Trump's camp nonetheless referred to what happened as an "assassination attempt."

Apart from the Nevada rally footage, the video from the terror group also showed a segment showing world leaders taking part in the U.S.-led Operation Inherent Resolve, which combats ISIS forces in Iraq and Syria.

Heavy reports that the video, which was in Bahasa language, may be taken as a threat from the militants to target world leaders with what may be perceived as "assassination attempts," similar to what to what the United States' incoming president experienced.

Reuters has earlier reported that the Islamic State plans to use Trump in its recruitment campaign. A top ISIS commander in Afghanistan, Abu Khorasani, told Reuters last month, "This guy is a complete maniac. His utter hate towards Muslims will make our job much easier because we can recruit thousands."

During the U.S. presidential campaign months, Trump made headlines for his anti-Muslim rhetorics, and, at one point, went as far as suggesting closing the United States to Muslims. He later softened his stance, saying instead that he would temporarily ban immigration from countries with "a history of exporting terrorism."
