'Lucifer' season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Uriel threatens Chloe's life; will Lucifer give up his mother?

Uriel (Michael Imperioli) did not come to earth for a fancy family reunion in FOX's fantasy police procedural series, "Lucifer." | YouTube/Lucifer

Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) family seems to be coming together to add chaos in his life. The last thing he needs is for his other brother, Uriel (Michael Imperioli), to take an interest in Chloe (Lauren German) and not in a good way.

The preview for "Lucifer" season 2 episode 5 titled "Weaponizer" shows Lucifer welcoming Uriel to earth sans the pleasantries. Uriel then proceeds to tell Lucifer to bring their mother (Tricia Helfer) to him or he'll take Chloe's life instead.

He cannot possibly let his partner be in danger, but he also can't just give his mother up, especially not now when he seems to be warming up to her presence.

The only thing left for Lucifer to do is to fight Uriel mano a mano and hope that his prolonged stay on Earth has not incapacitated him so much that he could not take a stand against his more powerful brother to protect the women in his life.

Speaking of incapacitation, the brief episode synopsis on TV Guide also mentions a brush-up between Uriel and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside). The latter will end up spilling how he has gradually been losing his powers. How will Uriel react to this? Will the rest of the family know about it too? And what could be causing Amenadiel's deterioration?

The episode will also feature one of Lucifer's worldly passions: action movies. Sadly, the case they are investigating will be all about the death of his favorite action hero, Wesley Cabot.

Will Lucifer manage to solve this case while constantly worrying about Chloe's safety? Will he be forced to tell his detective partner about Uriel's threat to give her a fighting chance against whatever deadly havoc his brother plans to bring her way?

Another possibility would be Lucifer giving his mother up to keep his partner safe.

"Lucifer" season 2 episode 5 should answer some of these questions when it airs on Monday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. EDT on FOX.
