Jennifer Lawrence, the actress who plays the role of the bow-and-arrow-wielding heroine Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games" trilogy, has hit the box office bull's-eye.

Lawrence, 24, tops the list of the highest-grossing actors at the box office in 2014, according to Forbes.

The magazine came up with its list of the top 10 highest grossing actors after totaling the international box office returns for actors whose movies were shown in 2014.

Lawrence led all actors with a global box office total of $1.4 billion for starring in two of the year's biggest blockbusters: "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" and "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," where she reprised the role of Mystique.

Meanwhile, Lawrence and the cast of the "Hunger Games" franchise have teamed up with the Ebola Survival Fund to raise awareness of the deadly disease.

This isn't the first time Lawrence has shown her compassion for the needy this holiday season. On Christmas Eve, she visited a children's hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
