Cleveland Cavaliers trade rumors 2016: Kevin Love trade could be settled by Celtics and Cavs

With even more news surrounding the future of Kevin Love with the Cleveland Cavaliers, it seems apparent that he is ready to make his way out of the franchise that just won their first NBA Championship.

According to reports, the link between Love and the Boston Celtics are close to becoming reality.

The Cavaliers appear to want to part ways with the power forward. Despite helping the team win the title this year, Love has often been seen as the odd-man out.

It was not a secret two years ago that the Cavaliers and Love did not get along, but they made it work last year to help them secure the title.

However, even winning the crown was not enough, and the Cavaliers are looking to offload Love.

A few months ago, rumors already started circulating on the link between the Celtics and Love, with even some articles suggesting that Love could go to the Celtics for Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley.

While those have died down after initial reports, it seems to be gaining steam recently with the Denver Nuggets also appearing as possible destinations for Love.

With the Nuggets stepping their interest up and also willing to give up assets in order to get Love on their team, it remains to be seen how the Celtics will react and how they can make their move to ensure they get their main man.

During his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Love was a great player, he scored from the inside, was a great threat on the outside and was able to spread defenses.

On the other end, he was a great rebounder and a decent defender, making him suitable for just about any team in the league.

It was surprising that he did not find a comfortable role with the Cavaliers, and if he does move away he may rekindle his own career and be as productive as he once was.
