Actress Natalie Dormer had to shave her head once again for the second part of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."

Dormer plays Cressida, the documentary filmmaker who is working with Kathniss on anti-Capitol propaganda. She is described in the book as "a woman with a shaved head tattooed with green vines."

In a video, the "Game of Thrones" actress put on a brave face while going through the shaving of almost half her head.

She also revealed how she and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I" director Francis Lawrence decided to take some artistic license with her character's look.

After seeing the "peacock-ish" fashions of the opulent Capitol population in the first two films, there seemed to be creative opportunities to make Dormer's character even more edgy.

"I had a really interesting conversation with Frances Lawrence, I said: 'You know, what about half the head?' And he was like 'I love that idea!'" she said in a video interview.

"I was going to suggest that to you. Because we both felt that it was more 'Capitol.' The book doesn't actually specify how much hair, so we felt liberated to make that choice," he added.

The video, embedded in the Entertainment Weekly website, came out a few days before "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I" becomes digitally available on Feb. 17. It will also be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and COD this coming March 6.

The second part of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 20 this year in the United States in the IMAX 3D format as well as regular 3D and 2D.

The film is actually the last of the two cinematic parts based on Suzanne Collins' Mockingjay, which is the final book in her "The Hunger Games" trilogy.

The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Robert Knepper, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman in his final appearance, and Donald Sutherland.
