Fans have been waiting patiently for the release of the upcoming video game "Kingdom Hearts 3." It has become one of the most anticipated games that are rumored to be released this year. Although the game developer, Square Enix has yet to provide specific details with regard to its upcoming rollout, rumors about the game have continued to increase. New reports suggest that "Gargoyles" is set to join in the upcoming action role-playing game.
Walt Disney Television Animation's "Gargoyles" was a popular animated series in the '90s. It was previously considered by Square Enix to include the show in the next installment of "Kingdom Hearts." For whatever reason, the negotiation did not come to play. According to a report by Gaming Bolt, Greg Weisman, American novelist, comic book and animation writer, stated during the MomoCon 2015 event in Atlanta that the crossover between "Gargoyles" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" is no longer happening.
"That's been discussed, and I'd love it--it's not up to me. [...] When I knew people who were involved [that] tried to push it, there was a point where I thought we were getting close on Kingdom Hearts...and then the guys I knew who were working on it got fired," the talented writer said. "I'd be very open to it, but obviously I don't even work at Disney anymore."
Nonetheless, fans are still hoping that both Square Enix and Weisman can come to terms and push through with this exciting plan. Nobody can deny that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be more enjoyable with "Gargoyles" in it.
Meanwhile, in a report by Christian Post, Square Enix has yet to provide a release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3," which prompted fans and critics to assume that the game is delayed. According to the publication, the next installment may come out in 2017 prolonging the agony of those who have been waiting for the game to come out.
