Microsoft has been getting so much attention lately with regard to its future releases. According to reports, the American software giant will release three major products this year until 2017: the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Microsoft Surface Book 2 and the highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Phone. There are speculations suggesting that the company is going to make a huge comeback in the smartphone market with a powerful device.

According to the latest buzz, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Phone will carry impressive specs and features to compete with the likes of iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7. There are speculations saying that the new Surface Phone will come with a 6 GB of RAM to be paired with a powerful processor. It is also said to carry 128 GB of internal storage.

There are also rumors suggesting that another version of the Microsoft Surface Phone will come out with 8 GB of RA and 512 GB onboard storage capacity. If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming handset will certainly give its competition a run for their money.

However, the company has yet to provide solid details with regard to the upcoming release.

Meanwhile, reports have yet to surface regarding the smartphone's processor. There are experts saying that Microsoft might go with Intel's latest mobile processor; while others are saying that the company might use the Atom X3. What's interesting is, Intel is said to have already canceled the production of their mobile chips, which could mean that Microsoft might proceed with Atom X3.

Previous rumors suggested that the company is going to use the upcoming Snapdragon 830 processor from Qualcomm. However, this has yet to be confirmed. However, the powerful processor can definitely support up to 8 GB of RAM.

According to PC-Tablet, the smartphone might also use the Kaby Lake processor from Intel. If rumors prove to be true, this smartphone will compete with the upcoming hybrid laptops from Apple.
