After several months of airing filler episodes, the popular anime TV series "Naruto Shippuden" is set to enter a new major chapter called "Kaguya- Final Showdown Arc," which indicates that the show is getting closer to its much-awaited finale. To further tease the fans all over the world, a new key visual was recently revealed to the public.
The official Japanese website of Tokyo TV, which airs the episodes of "Naruto Shippuden," has unveiled the new key visual that contains everything the fans should expect in the forthcoming chapter. The visual includes Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura and Hatake Kakashi. The legendary Team 7 led by Kakashi will be facing the anime series' greatest foe yet, Otsutsuki Kaguya.
The combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, as reported by the Yibada website, has also featured the "Final Showdown" key visual which marks the anime series' return to canon starting on May 5 as the survivors of the great ninja war contend with the Sage of Six Path's mother, whose aim is to reclaim all her chakra. Princess Kaguya is the proprietor of all chakras and ninja techniques in the world, that's why she believes it is time to take all the remaining chakras in the world and make the world a better place by wiping it off completely.
The new saga of "Naruto Shippuden" will begin with Episode 459 entitled "The Incipient." It is also the title of one chapter in the original source manga. Team 7's battle with Kaguya began in Chapter 678 and concluded in Chapter 699.
The last original manga content shown in "Naruto Shippuden" was the activation of the Infinite Tsukuyomi by Uchiha Madara. In the manga chapters, Black Zetsu stabbed Madara at his back, revealing himself as a traitor who actually works for Kaguya to unseal her. Once Kaguya was freed once again, Naruto and Sasuke must find ways of sealing her back before she succeeds in taking everyone's chakra and destroying the world.
