One of the perks of paying a monthly fee with PlayStation Plus is that subscribers are given a number of games they can download for free for a specific month, giving them countless of hours of gameplay until the time comes when they can download something new from the PlayStation Store.

For June, it was a great month as Sony made "NBA 2K16," easily the most popular basketball game of the console, as a free game for PlayStation 4 users. "Gone Home: Console Edition" was also part of the freebies, while PlayStation 3 users had "Siren: Blood Curse Episod 1-12" and "echochrome" to download for free.

PSP and PS Vita users had "Little Deviants" and "God of War: Chains of Olympus" to play with on their mobile devices.

Now for July, the rumor mill is buzzing as fans are trying to determine what games are going to come out as the second half of the year begins.

As usual, the official community page of PlayStation is beginning to fill up with suggestions and talks on which games should be free for July, with users suggesting different titles they might have missed in the past.

Now for July, there are rumors that an action-horror game could be given for free, with people suggesting that "The Evil Within" or "Resident Evil 6" are on tap.

These two titles are heavily suggested for PlayStation 4, and many are leaning on the latter game given the recent talks of the development of "Resident Evil 7."

For older consoles, TheBitBag suggests that there may be smaller releases to make way for the big titles for PlayStation 4, with the PSP and PS Vita being given some indie titles.
