'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Alicia shows her feisty side in 'Captive'

Another episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 promises to be full of suspense and action as it zeroes in on Alicia's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) dangerous attempt to get herself and Travis (Cliff Curtis) back to safety.

In episode 5 titled "Captive," new-age pirates led by Connor (Marl Kelly), who have taken unexplained interest of Alicia and Travis apart from their supply and weaponry, continue to keep the two locked up.

The trailer for the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 installment suggests that Alicia has a way out, which rumors say will involve Jack (Daniel Zovatto), who the young lady befriended (and appears to be smitten to) over the radio.

In Jack's life story that he relayed to Alicia, he said he helps Connor's crew out of his lack of options. Having met Alicia, he may finally learn to fight back and change his ways.

From what has been shown in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 from when Jack appeared, it is clear that he is not entirely stern at Alicia, hinting that he wasn't faking it when he said he really did want to see Alicia to meet her and not to ransack the Abigail yacht.

According to reports, if Alicia's judgement won't be overshadowed by her feelings for Jack, she could, in turn, use him to escape. But before she can reach him, there are a lot of hurdles Alicia needs to overcome.

And just like that, Debnam-Carey's naïve teenage character turns into a plucky butt-kicker. Before fans know it, Alicia is tackling Vida (Veronica Diaz-Carranza) in the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 promo.

As Alicia makes her attempt to beat their captors, Madison (Kim Dickens) and Nick (Frank Dillane) prepare to take down Connor's group. Frank can be seen setting up his gun, which he wasn't too keen on doing.
