The Atlanta Falcons may have beaten the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL) playoffs, but quarterback Russell Wilson still has a lot to be thankful for. Hours after losing the game, Wilson posted a photo of his wife, Ciara, kissing him on the cheek on Instagram, and he captioned it with "I will forever win bc I get to come home to you every night."

That's sweet. Wilson has always been a good role model for young Christians, and Ciara is just as proud of him for deciding to remain celibate until marriage. In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan South Africa (via Entertainment Tonight), she revealed that she does not regret the decision to abstain from sex until they got married.

"I have to give credit to my husband for sharing those views. It's awesome how it all worked out," Ciara said. "You shouldn't feel like you have to give your body away to get someone to like you," she added.

The couple married in July last year, and the wait obviously paid off because Ciara is now pregnant with their first child together. She also has two-year-old son with ex-fiancé, Future.

During the interview, she explained why friendship was a very important part of their relationship.

"I really believe that when you focus on a friendship, you have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a relationship — and once you know you're really great friends and you're what we call 'equally yoked,' where you share the same values or the same outlook on life, it kind of sets the tone," she said.

Friendship will always be the bedrock of a good and lasting relationship, so it's always good to hear couples talk about how important it is. The Seahawks may have lost, but Wilson will always be a winner thanks to his relationship with Ciara.
