For the second and final downloadable content (DLC) pack for the hit action role-playing game "Dark Souls 3," the folks over at FromSoftware are bringing players to "The Ringed City."

This appears to be a location brand new to "Dark Souls 3. The developer describes the location as one that is at "the close of the age of fire" and is "at world's end, past this heap of rubbish so far as one can go."

"The Ringed City" appears to feature a version of the Kiln of the First Flame, which is actually the home of the original "Dark Souls" game. However, this DLC will allow players to see more of this place.

"Dark Souls 3" publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed more details about the upcoming DLC in an official statement picked up by PC Gamer. The description is as follows:

"At the close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all lands converge upon themselves, a lone adventurer descends into the madness of the earth and uncovers the secrets of the past. As players make their way to the fabled Ringed City they will encounter ancient beasts, a new cast of characters teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, magic, and at the bottom of it all, a long lost city filled with new horrors for players to overcome."

A part of the "Dark Souls 3" DLC is a place called Dreg Heap, which is described as "the furthest end of the world" where remnants of history stand tall in the form of towers.

FromSoftware also released screenshots from the highly anticipated "Dark Souls 3" DLC and some exciting information on what fans has in store.

The developer teased some of the creatures fans will encounter including the "last survivor of the Demons" made more dangerous after being exposed to poison.

"The Ringed City" is also home to the Gray Giant, a former judicator for Gods whose existence can be traced from when the Archdragonwas discovered. Then there are locusts, which come out just as a city "falls into an Abyss" and just feed on everything.

The "Dark Souls 3" DLC will also feature a giant greatsword-wielding "vicious" knight, whose body is "swollen with every cavity bloated" due to being sunken in a swamp.

The "Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City" DLC will be available for $14.99 on March 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
