Bandai Namco has finally unveiled the much awaited fighting video game sequel "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" earlier this November. The players have been enjoying the latest contents in the sequel, and so far, all the reviews for the latest game have been generally positive. Still, the Japanese game studio is expected to bring in more action and excitement of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" with the upcoming DLC update.

The first ever DLC content pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is expected to introduce a real threat to Conton City. As revealed in the Bandai Namco Entertainment official website, the DLC update will feature the popular "Dragon Ball" anime series villain Frieza as the antagonist in a new siege event. Specifically, "The Frieza Siege" event will pit the citizens or player characters of Conton City against the powerful space villain and his men.

The reward for those who will successfully vanquish Frieza out of Conton City is additional player costumes. There will be 10 exclusive Jersey costumes to be given away once Frieza is defeated during the siege event.

The latest press release posted on DB-Z reveals that the first ever DLC update for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be adding several new contents in the game sequel. While there are a number of exciting contents already present in the latest "Xenoverse" video game, it seems like Bandai Namco has more to offer to its followers. One of the major additions in the next DLC update is the new set of playable characters. Notable "Dragon Ball Super" fighters such as Cabba and Hit will be included in the current game's roster.

To recall, both Caba and Hit are introduced in the Universe 6 versus Universe 7 tournament arc of "Dragon Ball Super." Hit is also expected to have his signature "ultimate attack" in the game, which is the same finishing move that he used against Son Goku in "Dragon Ball Super." Speaking of Goku, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is also expected to include the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken form of the character in the game.

A new set of 24 techniques will be added to the current ones in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," as well as new mentors such as Bardock, Future Gohan, Android 16, Whis and Cooler. However, these special contents are exclusively offered by Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe VIP corner. Still, others can enjoy the six additional costumes and accessories for the players' characters, iTech Post reported.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platform.
