Italian developer Luca Todesco is currently working on an update for his Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak, which will add iOS 10.2 jailbreak support on the software.

However, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will not be compatible with Todesco's Yalu update. It is unclear whether or not the current-generation Apple handsets will be able to soon.

Those who phones will be able to support the iOS 10.2 jailbreak by Todesco would want to prepare as they wait for the hacker to come out with the device.

According to Wccftech, it is of utmost importance to downgrade from iOS 10.2.1 to iOS 10.2 to be able to make use of Todesco's Yalu jailbreak update.

The site provided a guide on how to do that successfully. It is important for users to do that as soon as possible as Apple is quick in signing older firmware.

With regards to the release date of the iOS 10.2 jailbreak, Todesco is yet to provide information on that aspect although he is working on the project since early this month.

Todesco did have something to say about what he will do after he releases the iOS 10.2 jailbreak. "I will stop all public iOS research after I drop that 10.2 thing. The idiocy of the jailbreak community is too much to handle for me," he tweeted.

It looks like the developer is no longer thinking of releasing more jailbreaks to the public. In the past, Todesco has jailbroken many, if not all of Apple's firmware. However, he always chose to keep his jailbreak to himself until the iOS 10. "That's what I want to go back to," he said in another tweet, adding that he wants to steer clear of the "jailbreak drama."

Todesco has been vocal about the issues he is facing in the jailbreak community and it looks like he no longer wants to be part of the negatives of it.
