'Suits' season 6 spoilers, news, & updates: Is another main character leaving show?

The second half of "Suits" season 6 is expected to air winter of 2017, perhaps between the months of January and February. However, fans are worried that another major character may be leaving the series, too, after Gina Torres' exit.

Torres, who plays founding partner Jessica Pearson of Pearson Specter Litt (PSL), left the series at the end of season 6A. Apparently, her exit from the show was a long time coming, something she has been planning with showrunner Aaron Korsh for since the beginning of season 5.

"Leaving the show was indeed a difficult decision to make. However at this time, it is necessary to get back to my life [in Los Angeles] and all the very important things that being on location in Toronto made very difficult to manage," Torres said as quoted by Cinema Blend.

Now it looks like another major character, who shares the same sentiments as Torres, has decided to bid the show goodbye, too.

There are rumors that Gabriel Macht, who plays second PSL partner Harvey Specter, may no longer reprise his famous character for the show's seventh season. It seems the show's filming location, Toronto, Canada, has posed a huge problem for Macht ever since he took on the role of Harvey. He has been on the show since season 1.

Although Macht has previously said he enjoys filming in Toronto, he's not shied away from saying it will have been better if the series was shot in his hometown, New York. He has since been vocal that filming of "Suits" should be moved to NYC since it's actually where the series is set.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that Rachel (Meghan Markle) may be revealed to be pregnant when "Suits" season 6B returns. Should that happen, there's a big possibility that her thwarted season 5 wedding to Mike (Patrick J. Adams) may finally come to fruition.

Their wedding had to be called off after Mike surrendered himself to the authorities for fraud (he faked his credentials as a "lawyer") and spent a few months in prison, during which time Rachel stayed by his side. With Mike now out of prison, there are speculations he will go back to law school and finally get that law degree to get himself on the right track.

The second half of "Suits" season 6 will return this winter on USA Network. In the meantime, keep coming back for more updates and news about the series.
