Halfway into "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, fans are already talking about the show getting renewed for season 11. If they were to ask Leonard himself, Johnny Galecki, he would say it is likely.

The actor revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the writers of the show still have some things up their sleeves to extend the show beyond 10 seasons.

"We're very much talking about [the show's future] right now, and it seems that the writers are very confident and excited that they can write some more after this year, which is an incredible testament to them", Galecki said.

"If they're confident that they can do more, then I know that we're still having a great time with it on stage, so hopefully a bit longer," he went on to say.

Contract negotiations with the cast about doing another season of "The Big Bang Theory" are ongoing. There are a lot of rumors with regard to how things are going so far.

There are reports that Jim Parsons might not be up for doing "The Big Bang Theory" season 11, which means, should it continue, the sitcom will likely lose many viewers as his character Sheldon is a major pull for fans.

March last year, however, the actor hinted during an interview with TVLine that he is willing to do more seasons of "The Big Bang Theory."

"If the opportunity to go past season 10 came up, I'd be very hard-pressed to tell you who [among the cast] might say no — if anybody would," he said, before adding, "I wouldn't."

For now, fans have a lot more episodes to look forward to in the current season of "The Big Bang Theory." The next one airing next month is episode 14, "The Emotion Detection Automation."

Here, Sheldon attempts to make a machine that reads emotion while Raj (Kunal Nayyar) catching up with his two former girlfriends again.
