As early as now, many gamers are speculating about the list of free games for the Xbox Games With Gold promo this December. | Xbox

There are only a few days left for the month of November, and for the Xbox Live Gold subscribers, this means that there will be a new lineup of free games to look forward to for the coming month. Microsoft has recently unveiled the new game titles that will be available in Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles for free for the month of December. A total of four free Xbox video games will be available next month, comprised of two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 titles.

For the Xbox One titles, the free games for December will be the open world shooter video game "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" and the survival horror hit "Outlast." For the older Xbox 360 game titles, the Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now play "Outland" and the race car video game "Burnout Paradise," BGR reported.

The "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" has a regular retail price of $29.99, although the Xbox Live Gold members will be able to enjoy the game for free starting on Dec.  1. "Sleeping Dogs: Definite Edition" will be in the Xbox Games With Gold catalogue for the entire month of December.  "Sleeping Dog: Definitive Edition" is an updated edition released in 2014, containing all the improved gameplay contents and enhanced audio-visual quality over the original "Sleeping Dog" title. The game focuses on an undercover police officer whose mission is to infiltrate the antagonist's huge crime organization.

Meanwhile, "Outlast," having a regular price tag of $19.99, will be available as a free game starting on Dec. 16. The good news is that "Outlast" will further extend well into 2017, being available until Jan. 15. "Outlast" is a single player survival video game that tells the story of an investigative journalist covering a corrupted psychiatric institution.

The Xbox 360 video game "Outland" will be available for free download from Dec. 1 to 15, while "Burnout Paradise" will be in the free games catalogue from Dec. 16 to 31. These games are also playable in the latest Xbox console as they are backwards compatible on Xbox One, Game N Guide reported.
