While fans have been shipping a DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) romance throughout the first half of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, Luddington recently said that she didn't see the two becoming a couple anytime soon.

Since that fateful night when Alex (Justin Chambers) beat up DeLuca and the latter ended up in the hospital, DeLuca and Jo have grown close, leading fans to speculate that their friendship could become something more. This hope was fueled by the fact that while Jo revealed to Alex the truth about her past, the two didn't seem to have any sort of romantic feelings left for each other.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Luddington was asked if Jo knows that DeLuca has feelings for her.

"I really don't think she does!" the actress replied. "I think she feels in the midst of a tornado, there is so much spinning around her head that she's not picking up on any feelings," she added.

According to the "Grey's Anatomy" actress, Jo is just happy that she has a friend in DeLuca and that even if he does have feelings for her, Jo would probably set them aside and not want to complicate things.

Meanwhile, Kevin McKidd, who plays Owen, spoke about what's next for his character and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), Owen's runaway wife.

"Owen gives her space for a little while, as he should, but he runs out of patience and tries to track her down and wants to talk to her," the actor told Variety. He also hinted that the couple's differences may be too great for them to reconcile.

"When people want different things fundamentally in their lives, that's a big problem," McKidd explained. "They're definitely on the rocks and their future is definitely in question," he added.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 returns on Jan. 19, 2017, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
