'Are You The One' season 4 news: Release date earlier than anticipated

MTV recently unveiled a teaser via Twitter confirming that the fourth season of  "Are You The One" will make its way to TV screens this coming June. The series usually premiere around fall, so the release date is earlier than expected.

"See you in June :)," reads the post from the show's official social media page along with a short promo clip. As far as spoilers go, the network has yet to reveal details on the season 4 production. "Not soon enough. But it's coming...and I promise you, it's going to be nutty," the show's tweet last April 7 reads.

The third season left some viewers quite disappointed when none of the contestants ended up with their "perfect match." Britni, however, ended up with Chuck while Hanna went on to date Zak. Previously, there were a lot of speculations on who should be Chuck's perfect match, and it happened to be Melanie. 

On the contrary, Melanie seems to disagree without the result, saying that Chuck deserves to be with Britni instead. "Although I see 100 percent why Chuck and I are perfect matches, him and I are not together and did not try and work things out because he is happily in love with my real perfect match, Britni!" Melanie told MTV. Connor and Chelsey were the first couple to be a perfect match but they ended up being best of friends instead of being romantically involved with each other.

Ever since the pilot season, contestants in the show have been finding it difficult to look for a perfect match. Most of the time, their search leads to jealousy and heartbreak, particularly in instances when they learn that they have been making a mistake the whole time. Usually, even after the season, the jealousy and hurt feelings among the contestants linger on.

MTV has yet to confirm a definitive release date, "Are You The One" will surely return this June.
