The third installment of the first-person puzzle-platform video game, "Portal 3," has been a subject of numerous discussions all over the internet for quite some time now. Since the release of the second installment more than five years ago, fans have been eagerly waiting for a new title to come out. According to the latest report, Valve is said to be planning to launch "Portal 3" before the year 2016 ends.

The new rumor came out following recent leaked information indicating that the new game will be rolled out anytime soon. The leak allegedly suggests that Valve is currently developing the game.

In a report by Valve Software, an artist who goes by the name of Tristan Redford is said to have posted a screenshot of two highly anticipated games, "Left 4 Dead 3" and the "Portal 3." The screenshot allegedly came from a Destinations Workshop tutorial where Redford has gotten it. After the leak information exploded all over the Internet, it was immediately taken down.

If rumors prove to be true, "Left 4 Dead" and "Portal" will be the first two video game series from Valve to release a third installment. The company has been known to develop two-part games such as "Team Fortress," "Half-Life," and the two rumored games that are expected to come out this year.

As of the moment, Valve has yet to confirm these reports. However, many fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company decides to make an official announcement. There are speculations online suggesting that the company is trying to hype up the upcoming release of "Left 4 Dead 3" and "Portal 3."

Meanwhile, Game N Guide reported that the focus of the company for now is to develop a VR version of "Half-Life." Nonetheless, the report must be taken with a grain of salt until Valve confirms them.
