Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone called Galaxy J2 Pro in India. The South Korean tech giant has been releasing several smartphones this year in different parts of the world. According to the reports, the new Galaxy J2 Pro features 2 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16 GB for a price of around $150 or Rs 9,890. The device is exclusively released on Snapdeal. The new handset is available in three different color variations – black, silver and gold.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 with Smart Glow notification feature had just been released in June 2016 and many people were surprised when the company announced that they will be releasing the new Galaxy J2 Pro this month.

The new Galaxy J2 Pro smartphone also has the Smart Glow LED feature. Basically, the LED ring that surrounds the primary camera will glow once the phone will receive a notification. The LED light can be customized to many different colors or according to the preference of the user. Apparently, the new feature will help notify consumers when there are activities on apps or contacts. Not only that, the Smart Glow feature will also alert users when the phone's battery is about to run out.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy J2 carries a 5-inch screen with HD Super Amoled 720x1280 display. It may not have the same display technology as the Samsung Galaxy S7; however, the device is being sold at a ridiculously lower price.

The handset runs on a quad-core processor with a 1.5 GHz speed. It also has the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which could be upgradable once the new Android 7.0 Nougat hits the market. The device comes with Samsung's S bike mode and an ultra data saving mode.

Other features of the smartphone include an 8-megapixel primary camera with a LED ring around it. It also has a 5 MP selfie snapper and a 2600 mAh battery.

As of now, Samsung has yet to confirm if the device will make it in the western market.
