After the debacle from the Galaxy Note 7 this year, there is still hope that Samsung will be able to bounce back in 2017. After all, the South Korean tech giant still has more to offer to the tech users, and one of them is the next iteration of the Galaxy S-series smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was released earlier this year, but as early as now, there are now speculations regarding the features of the Galaxy S8 smartphone.

Just recently, a leak information regarding the Galaxy S8 has surfaced online. According to the Digital Spy, the said leak was posted on Weibo wherein all the specs and price info of the Galaxy S8 were listed. According to the details shared on the website, the Galaxy S8 will be a huge flagship killer, capable of outclassing today's top smartphone model like the iPhone 7.

First of all, the leak suggests that the Galaxy S8 will be boasting a lot of improvements over its predecessor. The yet-to-be-released Samsung smartphone is said to have an impressive 4,200 mAh battery, a huge leap compared to the limited battery capacity of its predecessors. It is also reported to boast a 3.2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor with 6 GB of RAM. Its camera features are also impressive with 30 MP rear camera having optical image stabilization and a 9 MP front or selfie camera.

However, the most notable feature listed in the recent leak is the built-in mini projector in the Galaxy S8. While some tech enthusiasts may find this additional feature to be unnecessary, it is nevertheless interesting and impressive as no other leading smartphone models today have this feature.

According to Tech Radar, it is possible that the Galaxy S8 will be released in April 2017. However, it is also likely that Samsung will first reveal the device to the public at the MWC 2017 event in February next year.
