'American Horror Story' season 6 spoilers: new logo sparks theme speculations

"American Horror Story" season 6 isn't coming back until October. But just like with most shows, fans are already scouting for hints and spoilers of what to expect in "AHS" next season. Fortunately, the show has recently released an update.

In the show's official Twitter page, one will see an image of the figure number 6 merged with a question mark in blood red color against a black background. It doesn't reveal much but it seems like it's the new logo for the upcoming season.

The number clearly pertains to the sixth installment but the rest of it is a mystery. It's not known what the symbol means and how it connects to the new season but fans have come up with their own theories and speculations.

According to a report, the new logo could be a clue of the theme in season 6. Several suggest that the new season could follow the Antichrist storyline and the devil could appear this time around. If the speculations are correct, it could mean that season 6 will be the most terrifying.

There are also some who believe that the upcoming season will be connected to the first season which is the "Murder House." Fans may recall that the season ended with the birth of the Antichrist.

It's making some sense since "AHS" co-creator Ryan Murphy previously said that the seasons of the show are tied together.

"They're all connected," said Murphy last October. "We're just beginning to tell you how they're connected. They're all very separate but there's clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined," he added.

As of now, details have been carefully kept under wraps so fans will have to stay tuned to find out what "American Horror Story" season 6 will be all about. On another note, Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson are all returning.
