The wife of former reality television star Josh Duggar has said that it was "heartbreaking" to learn her husband had been unfaithful in their marriage.

Anna Duggar, wife of Josh Duggar, recently appeared on the upcoming reality television special series "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" to discuss her husband's unfaithful transgressions.

It was revealed earlier this year that Josh had allegedly molested five underage girls while in his teens, as well as held accounts on the Ashley Madison extramarital affairs website during his marriage to Anna.

Anna says on the new reality show special that when she first learned of Josh's behavior, she thought: "It's like, I'm going to wake up and everything's going to be OK."

"This can't be true," Anna added.

The reality show star added that it "was heartbreaking to hear what had happened," as reported by ET Online.

Josh's sisters, Jill and Jessa, are slated to star on the "19 Kids and Counting" offshoot special, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," which will premiere on TLC on December 13.

According to In Touch magazine, Anna recently made her first visit to the faith-based facility where Josh is reportedly receiving treatment after it was revealed he visited the extramarital affair website.

"Anna went right before Thanksgiving," a source close to the reality show family recently told the media outlet. "She had a lot to discuss with Josh. She thought it best that she go alone so she decided not to bring the kids, except Meredith because she is still breastfeeding."
