Apple iPhone 7s release date, specs rumors: New device will come out with glass enclosure?

Apple's iPhone 7 has been making a lot of buzz lately over the Internet. Tech observers are anticipating the release of the device in 2016; however, before the Cupertino-based company can even confirm its development, new rumors have emerged suggesting that the company is currently manufacturing the iPhone 7s. According to the reports, the latest rumored flagship smartphone from Apple will have an all glass enclosure and an AMOLED display technology.

The rumor came from Ming-Chi Kuo, analyst from KGI Securities. Kuo is known to be a very reliable source after giving accurate prediction in the past. Apple Insider reported that Kuo allegedly issued a note to investor containing sensitive information about Apple's plan. According to the note, the company is planning to replace the aluminum iPhone casing in their future devices. It is said that they will be replacing it with a glass casing with AMOLED display.

Although Apple has already used the AMOLED technology in their current Apple Watch, the iPhone series including the latest iPhone 6s have continued to sport the LCD technology. If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming iPhone 7s is going to change the whole smartphone industry. This will allow other players like Samsung to develop a whole new innovation that can compete with the AMOLED iPhone 7s.

According to the analyst, the new iPhone 7s will come out in 2017, which gives fans hope that the company will release the iPhone 7 before this year ends.

Many Apple followers are concerned about the glass enclosure of the rumored device. They say that iPhone 7s might fail in the drop test, which is a big factor for consumers when shopping for a new gadget.

As of the moment, Apple has yet to confirm the development of both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s. However, tech freaks are hopeful that the company will make major changes in their approach for their next iPhone device.
