'Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection' release date, price news update: Officially announced; contains three titles of the franchise

Video game developer and publisher Ubisoft has finally confirmed the rumors regarding a remastered bundle of action-adventure video game "Assassin's Creed." Titled as "The Ezio Collection," the latest package is considered a real steal for fans who want to grab all three games in one go.

As detailed in the Ubiblog, "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection" will hit store shelves on Nov. 15 in North America and Nov. 17 in Europe. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will contain a compilation of the single-player campaigns and expansions from "Assassin's Creed II," "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," and "Assassin's Creed Revelations."

A whole lot of video game fun and adventure awaits every player that picks up the collection as it is written in the blog that the trilogy will "take you on decades-spanning quest for revenge, power and hidden secrets." Fans should take note though that "The Ezio Collection" will exclude the online multi-player mode which first appeared in the "Brotherhood" as well as in "Revelations."

This isn't the first time though that Ubisoft has come up with a trio compilation. They also released back in 2012 the "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy" as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. But Engadget noted that the difference from the 2012 bundle to the present one is that it seems like there will be a PC version of the adventures which will run at improved settings.

IGN also detailed that the package will also include a short animated film titled "Assassin's Creed Embers." Aside from that, there will be a three-part feature that will tell the backstory of Ezio. Called as the "Assassin's Creed Lineage," it's going to be a 36-minute prequel film to "Assassin's Creed 2."

"Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection" will be priced at $59.99 and will include an $8 discount coupon for a ticket to the upcoming movie "Assassin's Creed," which will arrive on Dec. 21.
