Asus Zenfone 3 release date, specs news: Launching at the end of the month?

Asus is expected to launch the Zenfone 3 on May 30. The company recently announced its press event called "Zenvolution," which will happen a day before Computex 2016 event will kick off. It will certainly be interesting how fans will receive the upcoming iteration of the company's flagship smartphone.
Fans will be able to see the live streaming of the event, which will be held at the Humble House in Taipei and will start at 2 p.m. CST. The upcoming Zenfone 3 has been all over the Internet but nothing significant has been reported yet as of the moment. Most of the information fans gathered online are merely just rumors and speculations.
According to the reports, the device is said to come with a fast-charging USB Type-C connector. Red Dot also reported that the new Zenfone model will feature a 2.5D glass with curved edges and a rounded aluminum frame. The design of the new smartphone is said to surprise many users once it hits the market. Rumor has it that it will come with a selfie camera flash and a fingerprint sensor. There are also speculations suggesting that Asus may use the Snapdragon process from Qualcomm on their new iteration.
During the release of the current Zenfone 2 last year, fans thought of it as one of the best in the market. It had a 5.9-inch HD display, along with its 12-megapixel rear snapper. It is currently running with an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC from Qualcomm and a 3 GB of RAM. The Zenfone 2 also has a 32 GB onboard storage capacity.
