Asus ZenPad 3s 10 release date: 9.7-inch display among features

Asus is gearing up for its next product unveiling. The Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer has been working on the ZenPad 3s 10, a new tablet for their ZenPad S lineup, and it's coming out already a few days from now.
Reports detailed that the device will be officially launched on July 12 at a special event in Taiwan. It will debut as the quick follow-up to the ZenPad 8 and the ZenPad 10 which were announced earlier in June. It is revealed to carry a 9.7-inch display with 2K resolution and will feature the "world's narrowest" border.
Details of the device are actually still scarce and well kept under wraps, but there are some rumors going around suggesting some of the specs and features that it will be coming with. One report indicated that the upcoming Asus tablet will be equipped under the hood with a hexa-core processor. The specific chipset is not known yet but it is said to be paired with 4 GB of RAM.
Rumors also suggest that the tablet will have a display resolution of 2560 x 1536 pixels. On the other hand, others claim that it will be 2160 x 1440 pixels. Then again, it could be just similar to the ZenPad Z8 which features a 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.
It is also said to be powered with a whopping 5,900mAh battery pack and will come with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, which means charging for the massive battery will be faster than the standard. Word also has it that it will be a very thin tablet with a measurement of only 5.32mm or 0.2 inches.
If the detail turns out to be true, it means that it will be thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 which has a 5.6mm dimension. It may also indicate that the number will be just for the bezels around the front display. There is no price yet so interested consumers will have to stay tuned for more updates.
