There has been lack of details about "Attack on Titan" season 2, but the game inspired by the anime from Koei Tecmo decided to insert some easter eggs and snippets from the upcoming season.

"The terms between Kodansha and us were for the first season of the anime," Hisashi Koinuma, producer of the "Attack on Titan" game, told IGN. "Obviously we pushed it a little bit and got their permission to be creative," he added.

Koinuma also teased clues about "Attack on Titan" season 2 that could be picked up from the game. Speaking to PlayStation Lifestyle, he confirmed that "it will feature Titans specific to this game."

"There will also be Titans that have not appeared in the anime which fans of the original manga are familiar with," he continued.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 is rumored to feature the Beast Titan, which is actually included in the "Attack on Titan" game. The said giant is a character from the manga.

Considering Koinuma's remarks, the Beast Titan could actually appear in season 2. This suggests that the "Clash of the Titans" arc from the manga will be featured in the upcoming season.

Spoiler Alert! The following contains spoilers on "Attack on Titan" manga and potential plot details for "Attack on Titan" season 2.

This arc finds the 104th Training Corps fighting a group of Titans that breached Wall Rose. It also puts Eren Yeager as he and some of his colleagues deal with a threat within the group.

It is inevitable for "Attack on Titan" season 2 to feature the "Clash of the Titans" arc as it is the story that follows the final arc that the first season ended with.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 has no release date yet, although there are reports it was delayed from later this year to 2017.

The anime will cover four arcs, but there are only three for now, so Wit Studio is still awaiting one more arc to complete the season.
