'Bates Motel' season 5 air date news, spoilers: Isabelle MacNally joins cast; series to end differently from movie

"Bates Motel" season 5 is still months away from premiering, but that doesn't stop fans from getting some heads up on what's to come next in the horror-suspense television series.
According to spoilers, the show will be having a plot twist for its season finale. It will also be having a different ending to the storyline, which means it will not follow the ending of the movie of which it is based on. "Bates Motel" is based on the iconic 1960 film "Psycho" by Alfred Hitchcock.
Fans who have watched the thriller flick may have already predicted how things will end for the series, but they will need to stay tuned as there will be different events taking place. Showrunner Carlton Cuse teased that season 5 will "blow the minds, completely."
He also told TVLine, "We wanted the final season to allow us to do our [spin] of the Psycho lore. We will be colliding with certain events in the narrative of the film, but it would be boring to just recreate Psycho."
So how will the show conclude? Nothing is revealed yet, but recent clues suggest that the show will introduce a never been known character. Isabelle McNally ("House of Cards") will reportedly be joining the cast. She is set to play the role of Madeleine Loomis, a character not mentioned in the original film. She is described to be a "warm and kindhearted woman" who will be having the same looks of Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga).
The last name Loomis isn't new, though, as "Psycho" featured a character named Sam Loomis, the boyfriend of Marion Crane, whom Rihanna will portray in "Bates Motel" season 5. It's not known yet what will be Madeleine and Sam's connection be, but rumors are rife that they will be husband and wife while Marion will be a mistress.
With this set-up, fans should stay tuned to find out how things will unfold in "Bates Motel" season 5 which is slated to premiere sometime in 2017.
