'Batman: Return to Arkham' release date news 2016: Expected in November

Gaming enthusiasts who have been waiting for the compilation pack "Batman: Return to Arkham" will have to learn to be more patient as the game's release has been delayed.

According to reports, the title, which is a collection of the HD versions of "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City," was supposed to be launched at the end of July. However, that's all changed now as publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the game will arrive a little later than the expected date.

Several fans were dismayed with the delay but looking at the brighter side, the reason for the reschedule is actually for the good of their gaming experience. Eurogamer noted that Warner Bros. is making it a goal to deliver a quality and excellent game, especially after what happened to "Batman: Arkham Knight" for the PC version. It can be recalled that the last installment has received several complaints because of bugs, frame-rate, render and also major graphical issues.

That is why when Chinese developer Virtuous Games reported a major frame-rate issue weeks before the original release date for "Batman: Return to Arkham," the console game company decided to extend the deadline.

"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of 'Batman: Return to Arkham' to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished 'Batman Arkham' game experience," a Warner Bros. spokesperson told the publication.

As of this writing, there is no release date given for the game yet. There were speculations saying that the title is set for a September launch. However, there is no truth or confirmation to that one and other reports suggest that it will be ready by November at the earliest. If not, then perhaps the game will be launched early next year.

For those who are not in the loop yet, "Batman: Return to Arkham" will include all of the DLCs from side stories as well as AR gameplay to several character costumes. The game will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
