'Berserk' release date news 2016: Launch announced; game features detailed

A video game based on the dark fantasy manga series "Berserk" is coming and it's set to arrive later this year. The game, which is temporarily known for now with its working title "Berserk," is the next to the "Warriors" installment.
Japanese video game company Koei Tecmo announced that the game will be released sometime in fall and will be available for PC, PS4 and PS Vita. Interested gamers must take note though that only the PS4 version will get a physical release, as reported on PlayStation Lifestyle. Also, there is no word on whether the game will be released for Xbox One.
The game will also follow the story arcs found in the manga narrative, specifically highlighting the life of the title's protagonist, Guts, and his adventure through "The Hawk of the Millennium Arc." As detailed on its official website, the game features include that of the combination of the world in "Warriors" and the dark and grisly atmosphere in "Berserk."
It will feature the "Cleaving" and "Smashing" attacks as well as the giant man-sized sword of Guts, the Great Sword, which is capable of cutting through enemies in half. Aside from that, other mentioned game features include a remarkable artwork and shots of the actual and animation movie trilogy.
It's also revealed that there will be different battle mechanics such as the Magic and Transformations. Guts will also be accompanied by other characters which gamers can opt to play as. There will be number of characters available that will appear in various parts of the story.
Each character is unique and is incorporated with different set of skills and characteristics to make sure that the variety of gameplay is in line with the world of "Berserk." And for those who followed the title on screen, they will be hearing the same familiar cast of voice actors.
