'Big Hero 7' release date news 2016: Sequel said to be in the works; Tadashi alive?

"Big Hero 6" became such a hit when it was released back in 2014. That is why it's no surprise that rumors about a sequel coming have been rampant.
According to reports, the next movie that Baymax (Scott Adsit) will appear in is going to be titled "Big Hero 7." And although nothing has been confirmed, various sources say that the second installment of Walt Disney's 3D computer-animated superhero comedy film is already in the works.
There's no telling when it may surface, but if the rumors turn out to be true, then fans of the movie will be seeing the lead characters of the show again including Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter), Fred (T.J. Miller), GoGo Tomago (Jamie Chung), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), and Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr.).
Rumors also have it that Hiro's brother, Tadashi Hamada (Daniel Henney), will be back. However, theories say that Tadashi will resurrect as a villain. Fans may recall that Tadashi died early in the film due to an explosion while trying to save Professor Robert Callaghan. He was instantly presumed dead, but many believe that he could still be alive since Callaghan survived and turned out to be the big bad.
Aside from that, Baymax could be remembered saying in one of the scenes of the film, "Tadashi is here." Given that Baymax is equipped with the ability to sense biological characteristics of every individual, it's possible that he meant Tadashi is still very much alive.
Theories continue to speculate that Callaghan has the information to the whereabouts of Tadashi and could be the one responsible for his becoming of a villain. Some reports suggest that Tadashi will return as Sunfire and will have plasma and fire manipulation powers.
If Tadashi does come back as a major villain, it means Hiro will be fighting against his own brother. And everyone knows that Tadashi's death affected Hiro so much.
As of now, none of the information released is official, so it's best to take them with a grain of salt. It is also said that "Big Hero 7" will hit theaters in August 2017.
