'Blackwood Crossing' video game announced, trailer released

Avid gamers who are on the lookout for a new title should watch out for the latest from PaperSeven. The game, titled "Blackwood Crossing," has just been recently announced.
As detailed by Hardcore Gamer, "Blackwood Crossing" is an adventure game that centers on the story of sibling orphans Finn and Scarlett. It's a first-person game that is narrative driven and gamers who will try this game will be exploring the sibling relationship between the main characters after they crossed paths with a magical figure while on a train ride. What was supposed to be a normal train ride turned into a story of "love, death and magic," as per the game's official website.
PlayStation Lifestyle also detailed that players will be navigating through the game as 14-year old Scarlett. They will need to walk Scarlett through a time of adventure while examining her relationship with her brother whom she has grown apart with as they got older. Moreover, the blog site mentioned that the two children became orphans after their parents died in a car accident.
The game is expected to elicit all sorts of emotions as the mood fluctuates from rise to fall throughout the narrative. A short trailer has been released by PaperSeven and though it doesn't show much, it hints that the characters have a British accent and the magical figure is an odd-looking one. The gameplay has yet to be revealed.
For those who are not in the loop yet, PaperSeven is an independent development studio composed of developers who once worked under Disney Black Rock Studio. Writer of "The Room," Oliver Reid-Smith, is also part of the team. The game will be published by Vision Games Publishing.
As of this writing, there is no announcement of the release date of the game yet, but it will soon be coming out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (Steam).
