Netflix's original thriller-drama television series "Bloodline" ended its season 2 on a cliffhanger. Followers of the series are now wondering when the show might be renewed for season 3 as it has not been announced yet. But even if the third installment has not been confirmed yet, spoilers for the next season have started making rounds online already.

The final episode of season 2 left off with Meg (Linda Cardellini) almost revealing to Sally (Sissy Spacek) everything about the secret that she has been keeping from her. It did not happen though and season 3 may be the time that Meg will finally confide.

In an interview with Gold Derby, Cardellini shared that she's actually looking forward to Sally's reaction with whatever it is that she will reveal to her.

"I'm looking forward to how it turns out when whatever it is I say to Sally—whatever that next sentence is, I'm very excited to see where that leads, if anybody actually tells the truth," Cardellini said.

She also mentioned that she is hopeful the series' co-creators would go on to the direction of exploring what will happen next to Meg and Sally once the truth comes out. Additionally, she said that Meg is expected to approach the aftermath in a different manner compared to how her siblings John (Kyle Chandler) and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) will handle it.

Meg was far from the Rayburn family already at the end of the first season. But in season 2, she returned to Florida Keys to deal with the Rayburn drama. Apparently, there's no escape from the darkness of her family members.

Season 2 finale also showed John's killing of Danny (Ben Mendelsohn). No one saw it coming since John has been known to be a good guy. But circumstances led him to do it and now fans are wondering if Danny will die or will survive the attack.

"Bloodline" co-creator Glenn Kessler told The Hollywood Reporter that Danny is a core character and as much as possible, they would love to continue keeping him a "focal point." This could hint that Mendelsohn's character will still continue to be visible in season 3 whether as a survivor or as a ghost. Fans will have to stay tuned.
