'Bones' season 12 spoilers: Brennan's fate uncertain; Hodgins to fix things within his marriage
The twelfth and final season for "Bones" is currently underway, and it will apparently shed more light on Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) fate in the hands of Zack Addy (Eric Millegan). In the meantime, Hodgins (TJ Thyne) will try to patch up his marriage.
Reports say that Brennan's husband, Booth (David Boreanaz), will be put in a tight spot after his wife's kidnapping. Zack was a former intern at the department that kidnapped Brennan while she was investigating a case involving The Puppeteer. How Zack got a hold of Brennan is a complete mystery, but it was reported that Zack was supposedly getting treatment in a psychiatric ward for the past eight years. Some fans speculate that Zack may be the serial killer that the Jeffersonian team is hunting.
During an interview with Zap2it, Millegan said: "He's been in a mental hospital for eight years. He's been through a lot, and we're going to find out what he's been through ... I've read episode 1 [of Season 12] and it's amazing. It's really, really good. It's very fun, and it's a lot of Zack. Fans will not be disappointed when they find out what Zack has been up to for the last eight years."
In the meantime, Hodgins will try to patch things up with his wife, Angela (Michaela Conlin). After Hodgins got into an accident and got the lower half of his body paralyzed, things have been tough around the Hodgins household. Being confined to a wheelchair put Hodgins in a deep depression, and he took his frustrations out on his wife. This final season will hopefully give the couple the happy ending that they deserve.
Fans will be sad to see the series go, but with twelve seasons, "Bones" has become one of the longest running series on Fox.
The twelfth and final season of "Bones" will air next year on Fox.
