Not a lot expected Britney Spears to make a major comeback but she is, and she's set to take the spotlight soon with her upcoming new album titled "Glory."

According to reports, the 34-year old "Womanizer" singer will be releasing her ninth studio album under RCA records. Her new songs will be arriving on Aug. 26 including the recently released single "Clumsy" as well as the lead single "Make Me," featuring rapper G-Eazy. The song has already gained more than 14 million YouTube views and over 20 million listens.

With such overwhelming numbers, it's not hard to predict that Spears' new record will be a big hit once it comes out. After her last one "Britney Jean," which came out in 2013, she's now all set to take the world with new tunes. It's also detailed in a report by Time that the singer-actress described her new album as "the beginning of a new era."

The album is now available for pre-order via Apple Music, and those who will get it ahead of time will be receiving an advance music treat. They will be able to stream an exclusive new track titled "Private Show."

Entertainment Weekly reports that the singer who popularized "Oops I Did It Again" will be releasing another song from the album. The new track is titled as "Do You Wanna Come Over," and it will be dropping on Thursday, Aug. 18. Spears made the announcement via her Twitter account.

Aside from her album, Spears is preparing for a comeback in this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). It's been about a decade already since she performed on stage for the cable channel's honoring of the best in the music video medium.

CNN detailed that the pop star will be singing her "Make Me" single live in Madison Square Garden, New York City. Spears is popular for her iconic acts during the VMAs, including singing with a giant snake around her neck and locking lips with Madonna.
