'Civilization VI' release date news 2016: Aztec civilization details revealed

"Civilization VI" has added the ancient Aztec people into their ranks, and they come with their own perks to make civilization-building a bit more interesting.
The Aztecs will have Montezuma I as their leader, and they have the use of the special Eagle Warrior unit. The Eagle Warriors are special in a sense that they can convert enemy units into builders, which means that the Aztecs can enslave their enemies and force them to build their monuments for them.
With the ability to amass more builders, the Aztecs also have some very unique buildings that can be put to use in the game. Players have the option to build an ancient sports area called the Tlachtli, which can give faith and good general points.
The Aztecs also have the option to build the Huey Teocalli pyramid, an ancient structure that was said to be the place where numerous ancient rituals (most likely human sacrifices) were made.
Firaxis, the developer of the game, explained: "The Huey Teocalli is a giant terraced pyramid leading up to a temple where some of the most important Aztec rituals were performed." They went on to say that there is very little left of these ancient structures, and most of the remaining examples can be found at the Zocalo main square in downtown Mexico City.
More nations have been included in the lineup of civilizations for Sid Meier's "Civilization VI" including China, Japan, Egypt, America, and England. Each nation comes with their own unique leaders, structures, and special troops, so players can have fun watching the historical progress of mankind at the tip of their fingers. Who says history can't have a little fun?
"Civilization VI" will come out in October, and fans could not wait to see what else the game has in store.
