'Dance Moms' season 6B spoilers, news: Dads perform dance number; Nia and Kendall face off

The moment that "Dance Moms" fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. The second half of season 6 just aired its episode 19 and, as expected, it's packed with drama.

After the departure of superstars Maddie and Mackenzie, Abby has changed her perception by promising to no longer overlook her other dancers. The fall premiere kicked off with Abby making some changes which Holly noticed and appreciated. A lot of drama also transpired with Brynn who had some problems with performing her part in a duet. She ended up winning fourth place.

Episode 19 was just the beginning of the many emotional rollercoasters to come. Spoilers reveal that in the next episode, Abby will challenge Nia and Kendall to a complex head-to-head face off. Meanwhile, the moms will not be happy with the group's tribute to Madonna. They want more, and they are not satisfied with the routine.

Holly is also going to be in trouble as she will bring in Nia's manager to the studio to investigate any hidden agenda that Abby may have for her off-Broadway star daughter. It turns out that her strategy will backfire.

Reports also suggest that season 6B of the reality dance TV series will be moving the spotlight to the dads of the girls. An upcoming special titled "Girl Talk Part 3" will feature fathers of the cast members. They will share some of their daughters' secrets and even have them perform a dance number. Fans who are looking forward to the daddy perspective should watch out for this special.

Other mid-season spoilers reveal a tribute number for Prince in which the elite team will perform. The mini team will also be back, and Abby will challenge the members to a beauty pageant-themed dance, where she will crown one mini queen of the routine.

A Mother's Day episode will also take place, and Abby will assign her minis to do a lyrical routine to honor her mother. Problems and tension will also arise in this episode.

"Dance Moms" season 6B episode 20 will air on Sept. 13 on Lifetime.
