'Dance Moms' season 7 cast news: Nia Sioux the latest to exit?

The Abby Lee Dance Company may go smaller in "Dance Moms" season 7. According to the latest reports, Nia Sioux is leaving the Lifetime reality series as well.
Just like her former co-star Maddie Ziegler, Sioux is reportedly getting more opportunities outside the show. The rumors started when the 14-year-old dancer was cast in the Broadway musical "Trip of Love."
The "Dance Moms" star will join the 1960s pop music show on July 12, where she will perform her "specialty dance solos" such as "These Boots Are Made for Walkin," "Moon River" and "Wipe Out."
Although it is unclear if her participation in the musical will affect her appearance in "Dance Moms" season 7, Sioux is undoubtedly excited about her new stint.
"I am honored to join the cast of 'Trip of Love' and am so excited to be part of this high energy show. This is truly a dream come true," Sioux said in an official statement.
The reality star hasn't spoken about what this means for "Dance Moms" season 7. However, her social media accounts show that she still hangs out with her co-stars.
Sioux is one of the fan-favorite dancers on "Dance Moms." Last year, there were also rumors she was leaving the show, but the star proved there was no truth in these reports.
Sioux has been in "Dance Moms" since its inception. She was one of the original dancers. The rest of went on to leave the show, including Chloe Lukasiak, Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler as well as Paige and Brooke Hyland.
JoJo Siwa, who has grown to be a favorite as well, is also rumored to skip "Dance Moms" season 7, no confirmation has been made about it yet.
In recent competitions and photos posted by her co-stars, Siwa's absence is definitely obvious. However, like Sioux, Siwa has been around her "Dance Moms" friends in the past days and weeks.
"Dance Moms" season 7 is expected to premiere next year.
