'Days of Our Lives' Sept. 9 episode recap, spoilers: Hope's past haunts her; Belle accepts relocation in Hong Kong
This week, the "Days of Our Lives" soap opera ended with a hello to the past and a goodbye to Belle who is moving away from the town of Salem.
The episode on Friday, Sept. 9, had Hope (Kristian Alfonso) terrified over the digging of her past. With Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) as the new district attorney, this just means that he has power more than ever. And his first mission in his new position is to uncover the truth about what happened to Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
Aiden knew that Hope had something to do with Stefano's death. He just has not found any concrete evidence yet. But with his power, he will be able to easily access the case and bring the truth to the table.
Reopening Stefano's case could mean trouble for Hope because she could be arrested and taken to jail. This will affect Rafe (Galen Gering) as well because he helped her get rid of the body. Will Rafe be able to help the love of his life again? Rumor has it that a trial is underway for Hope but Rafe will not be able to save her this time around.
Meanwhile, Belle (Martha Madison) is leaving Salem because of a new employment opportunity. Chad (Billy Flynn) offered to relocate Belle to Hong Kong for a new and tempting position. Belle did not accept it immediately and said she must consult Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) first.
Shawn was surprised by the idea of Belle moving away. Sources suggested that Shawn will be disappointed at first but he will eventually decide to go with her in the succeeding episodes. This, however, will reportedly just be a temporary leave as the two are set to return to Salem.
