'Days of Our Lives' spoilers and cast news: Marci Miller to replace Kate Mansi; Theresa goes on date with Brady
Fans of the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" will need some time adjusting as the show will now feature a new face. There is no new character though as the new face that will be entering the show will be replacing Kate Mansi.
According to a report by Celeb Dirty Laundry, Marci Miller will now be playing as Abigail Deveraux as Mansi leaves the show. She hasn't left yet but there are few days remaining until Mansi finally says goodbye to her long-time character role. In her Instagram post, Mansi revealed that she will officially depart "Days of Our Lives" on June 24.
Fans have loved Mansi's portrayal of Abby that is why some have expressed their concern over the transition. But the pressure doesn't get to Miller, who said through her recent Instagram post that while she is afraid, she is also excited.
Entertainment Weekly revealed that Miller has already started filming scenes for her new role. She will make her first appearance in the show by fall this year. This basically means that Abigail will not be in the scene for a couple of months. It's no surprise though as her storyline has ended her in a mental institution. But she will be making a comeback and that's something that fans should watch out for.
Meanwhile, a lot is expected to happen next week in the show. For starters, Inquisitr reported that Theresa will be preparing Brady a romantic night. She has been feeling upset and jealous lately since Brady has been growing closer to Summer. But fans are yet to see if it's going to be indeed a magical night as spoilers suggest that things will turn sour.
Serial Scoop also noted that in next week's episode, Kate will be confronting Deimos. Kate will also make a secret deal with Aiden while Ciara will be looking after a hungover and broken-hearted Chad.
"Days of Our Lives" airs every Monday to Friday on NBC.
