'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Ciara confesses love to Chad; Jennifer passes out

Intense and emotional scenes are going to play out in the upcoming episode of the soap opera, "Days of Our Lives."

According to spoiler reports, the Aug. 25 episode will have Ciara expressing her feelings to Chad who has been her long-time crush even with Abigail around. And now that Chad's wife is out of the picture, she felt the need to tell him about what's really going on with her emotions. She will pour her heart out and tell him things that she is not supposed to say at a very critical moment in his life.

Ciara's timing is so wrong that her impulsive decision will lead her to her own downfall. Naturally, Ciara's confession will shock Chad. He will then suggest that Ciara's feelings are not real and that she's only feeling them because of a crush. Simply put, Chad will reject Ciara's feelings.

He apparently still has a lot going on in his mind, and pursuing a romance with a young girl wouldn't fit into the schedule anymore. Chad is still grieving from allegedly losing Abby. Aside from that, he is facing a custody battle with Jennifer who wants to put Thomas under her care while Chad is incapable of looking after his own son.

Ever since Abby died, Chad has been slacking off, sleeping and drinking his woes away. Clearly, he is not in the right state to take care of Thomas, and Jennifer wants to point that out to him. But is Jennifer really the right person to take Thomas?

According to spoilers, Jennifer will have problems of being eligible to be the guardian of Thomas. Fans may recall that Jennifer had a relapse on the previous episode after staying in a motel to drink booze and pop pills. The news about Abby's death hit her hard that she thought she needed something so that she could cope with the pain.

But with the custody battle going on, Jennifer's decision was a wrong move. Belle and Kayla rescued her, but instead of thanking them, she only became defensive. Will Jennifer still have a shot at taking care of Thomas?

New episodes of "Days of Our Lives" air every Monday to Friday on NBC.
