'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, plot news: Ciara seeks comfort from Theo; Victor denies involvement in Tate's kidnapping

"Days of Our Lives" spoilers hint that the soap opera will be returning next week with a major heartbreak and some denying of accusations.

According to spoiler reports, Ciara will have a double heartbreak moment. Fans may recall that she had her heart crushed when Chad rejected her feelings for him. Ever since Abigail left the picture, she has mustered up the courage to confess to Chad about her feelings. But Chad did not return her love and told her that he isn't looking into getting into another relationship especially since he is still grieving over the loss of Abby.

Ciara will be devastated and will decide to seek for comfort to her old pal Theo. But Ciara will be too late as spoilers indicate that Theo may have slowly moved on from her. Theo had an unrequited love for Ciara because of the latter's love fantasy for Chad. He got hurt, but ever since he met Claire, he has slowly forgotten about Ciara.

Spoilers reveal that Claire will meet up with Theo to tell him some good news about her career. They will celebrate, and it will end up with a make-out session which Ciara will witness. She will be crushed to see her best buddy move on to someone else. She will get hurt and feel regret for letting someone like Theo slip away.

But since Theo still cares for Ciara, he may still end up coming back to her and potentially hurt Claire in the process. Will Theo return to Ciara or will Ciara try to steal Theo away from Claire? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

Meanwhile, things for Victor are getting intense. He claimed to have been framed for Tate's kidnapping and his biggest suspicion is none other than his brother Deimos. As detailed in a spoiler report, Victor will insist that Deimos set him up. He would most likely do it considering Deimos seeks revenge against his brother.

However, fans speculate that there is more to the story of Tate's kidnapping. There could be someone else behind the abduction, and fans are curious already to know the truth.

"Days of Our Lives" will air new episodes beginning Aug. 22 on NBC.
