'Destiny' DLC release date update: Expansion launching in April; sequel will happen next year?
Bungee and High Moon Studios definitely have something big for fans in April. According to N4bb, the game developers have confirmed Destiny's upcoming DLC roll out next month.

"The April Update," also known as Version 2.2.0, will feature something for each Guardian, as promised by Bungee. Players will also be treated with new and advanced gear that will surely provide more enjoyment to each character, new PVE or player-versus-environment challenges and many more.
Fans can also expect a new quest once the new expansion gets rolled out, which will feature the Blighted Chalice Strike, sandbox and crucible updates, increased max light and rewards and more.

The company has not provided any details with regard to the pricing of the new expansion; however they promised that players of "Destiny: The Taken King" will receive the new update for free. Bungee will give out more specific information to the fans in the following weeks before its release.
Scheduled are as follows:
Mar. 23 – Gamers will know more about "new things to do."
Mar. 30 – Gamers will get specific information on "new things to earn."
Apr. 6 – Gamers will have more on Sandbox and Crucible updates.
Meanwhile, a rumored sequel of "Destiny" is said to be in the works. According to a report by Dual Pixels, a reliable source claimed that the next installment will be titled, "Beyond Destiny" and rumor has it that it will be rolled out together with Nintendo's upcoming console, The NX.
As usual, nothing has been confirmed yet with regard to a sequel; however, fans are keeping it positive and hoping that a new episode gets materialized.
