'Devious Maids' season 4 spoilers, plot news: Includes a new murder mystery, love triangle for Mirasol and Eva Longoria
American television comedy-drama series "Devious Maids" is set to return to the small screen soon with just a few days left until the premiere episode. And since its air date is fast approaching already, Lifetime released a promo video to hype up the excitement even more among fans.
According to a report by Unreality TV, the fourth installment of the show will feature the death of a major character, which means that a new murder mystery is on the way to be solved. It's not yet revealed though who the unlucky person will be but it's something that the fans should watch out for.
Meanwhile, it's not all demise and blood that will take place in season 6 as there will also be more love, laughs and even fresh faces that will be featured in the series. According to TV Line, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria is stepping out from behind the scenes as an executive producer to join in the drama.
And if her role in the show was initially kept under wraps, the promo teaser finally revealed that she will be playing as herself. She will play as an actress portraying the role of a maid who is found dead. Apparently, it's a storyline based on Blanca's (Naya Rivera) murder and it's going to be spearheaded by newcomer Peter (James Denton). Spoilers also suggest that Peri (Marian Klaveno) has found a new job — an acting stint together with Longoria.
Meanwhile, Marisol Suarez (Ana Ortiz) will be caught up in a love triangle. Ecumenical News detailed that even though she has already broken up with Jesse (Nathan Owens), she will still go out with him on a date which they will cap off romantically. What Jesse doesn't know though is that Marisol is already in a new relationship with Peter and she has yet to admit this to him.
A lot is in store for the fans of "Devious Maids" season 4 and they can catch the first episode on June 6 on Lifetime network.
