DJ Calvin Harris recovers after car crash, rings girlfriend Taylor Swift

Scottish DJ singer-songwriter Calvin Harris is now on his way to recovery after getting involved in a car crash on Friday, May 20. He was sent to the hospital for treatment of his minor injuries, and as reports stated, he is now doing better.
According to a report by TMZ, Harris, whose birth name is Adam Wiles, was driving his way to the airport in Los Angeles in his Cadillac SUV when suddenly a Volkswagen Beetle crashed into his car. The accident caused a laceration on the DJ's face which necessitated immediate attention and hospitalization. However, due to unavailability of a private room in an L.A. hospital, Harris skipped the needles "against medical advice."
All is well for him though as Entertainment News noted he has been focusing on recuperating.
"He is keeping an eye on his body to make sure he is 100% this week," an insider shared.
Reports also mentioned that Harris is planning to get back to work as soon as possible especially since the collision caused him to miss a show in Las Vegas at his OMNIA residency as well as in the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
As for the passengers in the VW, reports mentioned that the car was packed with teenagers. The driver was a 16-year old girl who crossed the center line, hitting the 32-year old DJ's SUV at around 11 p.m. It was also said that one of the passengers was ejected.
Yahoo! Entertainment also reported that Harris' girlfriend, superstar Taylor Swift, was one of the first people that he informed through phone call. The source cited that the "How Deep Is Your Love" songwriter called up Swift shortly after the crash and though he did not want to alarm her, she was nothing but caring once they connected.
Mirror UK also noted that reports said that Swift asked him if he needed her to be with him. Harris answered that it was not necessary as he didn't want to make a fuss. Fans of Harris can still catch him at the Las Vegas nightclub Hakkasan this Thursday, May 26.
