'Dragon Ball Super' episode 47 spoilers: New arc to feature Black Goku and Future Trunks

Japanese anime television series "Dragon Ball Super" is returning soon for its episode 47 and followers of the show will have something to look forward to because reports say that a new arc is coming.

According to a post by Facebook user GojiitaAF, the Japanese TV Guide stated that episode 47 will be titled "New Chapter! An Obscure Enemy Appears!" Its subtitle is "A new development begins! The boy returns to our time," which actually refers to the return of Future Trunks to the present time.

The plot summary found in the Attack of the Fanboy detailed that Trunks returns to search for Goku and the gang. He has just defeated Cell and peace has been finally attained. However, he needs to be back for a reason that is not yet specified. There's no official word on what the reason really is but spoilers suggest that Future Trunks has come back to ask for help to defeat Black Goku, a villain character that creator Akira Toriyama had previously hinted.

Black Goku is said to be the evil version of Son Goku. And while his good counterpart is known to be one of the most powerful warriors of the universe, Black Goku is believed to be a villain whose aim is to destroy and get rid of an entire race just for fun. His real identity is not known yet and fans have yet to find out if Black Goku is how Goku will turn out to be in the future or if he is a completely different person. Nonetheless, he is going to stir up some trouble and it appears like he is going to be a difficult villain to handle.

Info-Europa reported that Toriyama has announced that the new arc of "Dragon Ball Super" will be launched on June 12.
