'Dragon Ball Super' episode 53 spoilers, plot news: Goku and others head to Universe 10 to learn more about Goku Black's identity

In the continuation of the acclaimed Future Trunks arc in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53, the identity of Goku Black will finally be revealed, giving the episode the fitting title "Reveal Black's True Identity! Now, to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10."

Thanks to the evil Goku doppelganger's unusual ki, Beerus and Whis found a way to figure out who he really is and how to beat him. The answer, however, lies all the way to the Universe 10.

Beerus and Whis will head to the said realm in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 in order to meet up Zamasu, the apprentice Kaioshin who appears to have the same ki as Goku Black.

Goku himself will come with them. In fact, he will fight Zamasu as seen in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53, to confirm that his ki is indeed the same as Goku Black has.

During the battle, Zamasu looked serious to the point that he looked bored, as he gave Goku a run for his money. Goku appeared to be struggling and shocked as he fought the Supreme Kai apprentice.

Goku would have to push Zamasu's buttons enough for him to use his ki on him so the hero might have to step up his game to be able to pull off his task and become one step closer to uncovering Goku Black's biggest secret.

It is important to point out that in the "Dragon Ball Universe" episode 53 trailer, Beerus and Whis were looking at a box of time rings â€“ four colored green and one colored silver. This hints that they are indeed close to blowing Goku Black's cover.

According to speculations, Zamasu will be eventually convinced to help Beerus and Whip into getting to the bottom of the mystery of Goku Black's true identity.

It is a mystery if Zamasu is a friend or a foe. There are speculations that Zamasu is actually Goku Black all along. Unfortunately, "Dragon Ball Super" fans will have to wait a week longer.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 will not be aired on July 24 and Fuji TV will instead telecast the highly-anticipated episode the week after, which is Sunday, July 31.
